Vulcan Spike, a division of Birmingham Rail & Locomotive Company, has been supplying railroad track spikes across the nation to Class I Railroads, Shortline Railroads and contractors since 1985.

Geared for customer service, Vulcan Spike maintains a large on-site inventory in both Birmingham, Alabama and Houston, Texas to allow for quick turnaround of orders which translates into savings for our customers. With adequate storage space, we have the ability to segregate inventory as necessary.

Vulcan Spike has EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) capabilities via EPIRA for Purchase Order Receipt, Acknowledgement and Invoicing to its customers.

Vulcan Spike maintains a rigorous Quality Standard of M1003 and is proud to be certified by NAPM, Rail Industry Forum, as a "Quality Supplier" of railroad track spikes. Each spike has an identifying mark on the head that allows for traceability.
